The 5 reasons why your cat sleeps next to you

Hello everyone! You have no idea how much I've missed you all, but I've been incredibly lazy. This writing thing is exhausting; working two hours a month is so draining. I'm even thinking of taking a cat-related leave of absence.
A few days ago, I was lying on top of my owner, watching her every move. She looked at me and said, "Beckam, why do you like sleeping next to me so much?" To which I replied with a purr and a turn of my neck to rub against her hands.

So I thought I'd tell you about the 5 reasons why your cats sleep with you:

1. COMFORT. OR HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN THAT I'M A KITTEN?

My life is really tough. Remember that we can take 15-hour naps and, although we sometimes sleep in the strangest places in the house, we like to sleep somewhere soft... and what better than my 1.80 x 1.50 cm bed.

2. THE TEMPERATURE

We cats love the warmth, what could be better than a ray of sunshine with a caipirinha?
Just watch us, we're always looking for pillows, blankets and, above all, warm places to snore for a while.

3. It pains me to say it, but... it gives me security.

We cats are constantly on guard, so at the slightest touch we do a double somersault. Sleeping next to our parents makes us feel calmer, and that's AWESOME.

4. WE ARE TERRITORIAL

Here's the little problem, human. You paid for the bed, but it's really ours. We're doing you a favor by letting you sleep in it, we'll just pretend nothing's wrong...

5. And above all because we love you

If we kiss you, butt you with our heads, if we purr at you… it's because your little house lion loves you!! So what could be better than sharing a bed and warmth… we're a family.

Something very important to avoid problems is that your little feline is properly vaccinated and dewormed. Sleeping together will strengthen your bond and your kitty will be much happier.

Well, I'll leave you until next time. I'm going to lie down in bed, and if possible, on my owner's belly. See you!!
