For as long as I can remember, I have loved animals. I was one of those people who, if I saw a dog or a cat, I wanted to take it home with me.
My first dog was named Super, after the dog from the musical group Parchís. This group (for those who don't remember them) had a huge impact on the national scene back in the 80s, and even today their song "Happy Birthday" is still played at many birthday celebrations. In their films, they shared this success with a mixed-breed dog who could do every trick imaginable, and that's where my first companion's name came from.
I remember that day like it was yesterday. I was so eager to have a dog at home, and when I showed up with Super, my mother looked at me and said the words I'd been dreaming of: "Well, if you promise to take responsibility for his care, he'll be part of our family." And that's how I became the happiest kid in the world and started taking care of Super as best I could, learning to understand him, respect him, and love him in that unique, special, and pure way that characterizes love for animals.

When I was 13, a kitten joined the family, and we decided to name him Copito. Yes, I know it's a very cheesy name, but in my defense, I wasn't solely responsible for that decision. Copito came to fill the void left by Super and heal our sadness. We shared many happy years together. He was my first cat, and I knew for sure he wouldn't be my last.
Years passed, adolescence came, and then the dreaded adulthood arrived, the time when you start to chart your course in life and find your career path. I spent years in different jobs across various sectors, but none of them fulfilled me. I honestly couldn't imagine myself doing the same thing 10 years from now. Faced with this prospect, I decided to dive headfirst into my dream: working in the pet industry. What did I have to lose? It was better to try than to always be left wondering what might have been. And after a lot of nerves, but above all, a lot of enthusiasm, Vidanimal was born in 2010 with a huge heart.

As is often the case, the beginnings were tough. We worked hard during the first few years to achieve what we believe you all deserve for your pets: a trustworthy shop where you can go with the peace of mind that, above all else, there is a genuine concern for the animal's well-being. We will always offer advice and try to help resolve any issues related to feeding, health, hygiene, and general care in a sincere and honest way, putting profit aside. And, of course, we also offer all kinds of accessories to make life more comfortable, fun, and happy for all your furry friends.
Fortunately, this effort was rewarded with a growing number of satisfied customers (many of whom have become friends), so we decided to expand this personalized service to two more locations: first Altabix, and then earlier this year in Sector V. This allows us to provide you with the best possible service and the option to choose the store that best suits your needs, whether it's proximity to your home or workplace, ease of parking, or any other reason. For us, the most important thing is being close by so we can advise you on any questions you may have.
Without a doubt, looking back after these 11 years, I can only feel proud and very happy that I made that decision. I've met furry friends who stole my heart and took a little piece of it with them.
This area led me to discover the best thing in my life: my dogs. Elvis, Olay, and Bahía.
Elvis is 11 years old and is undoubtedly still my best companion. We understand each other just by looking at him, and I couldn't be more grateful that he's still with me today. He's taught me one of the greatest (and at the same time simplest) lessons in life, one that we often overlook: to appreciate the little things.

Bahía is the little earthquake that in just one year has won our hearts and is responsible for making us smile every day.
They are my driving force now and always; they have made my life happier and more fulfilling.
That's why Vidanimal, my clients, and their furry friends have changed my life. Today, I can say with complete certainty that I am happy and one of those fortunate people who wake up excited every day to still be here 11 years later, thanks to the wonderful team we have, who have grown and developed with us over the years: Fran, Cristina Magaña, Lorena, Ana, Feli, Cristina Malagón, Elisa, Javi, and Alba. Thank you so much for being there.
And above all to all the furry ones who have come into our lives and unfortunately have left us, always sooner than we would like, because no matter how many years they accompany us, they will always seem short, and of course to all those who make my life what it is.
Thank you so much
